Named for Fritz Lang's cinematic vision of industrial transcendence, the Metropolis Collection channels the geometry of the machine age with function, ceremony, and poetry.
Each glass pushes the boundaries of Czech glassmaking technique through its distinctive stem, where precisely calibrated discs stack in progression. These floating discs, each hand-formed while molten, represent a feat of technical bravado.
No two pieces are perfectly identical in disc spacing; these variations reveal the human hand and the relationship between designer, maker, and material. Each glass enhances the drinking experience through its geometric design and the tactile interplay as the fingers find their place among the discs. Industrial design made possible only through artisan craft.
